Description
This 14 hour online course is a multidisciplinary educational experience designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of nurses who provide care and support for childbearing women, newborns, and families. This course will cover Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (3 hrs), Diabetes in Pregnancy (5 hrs), Prevention of Neonatal Group B Streptococcal Infection (3 hrs), and Postpartum Depression (3 hrs). This online course begins the 3rd Wed. of each month and you will have 6 weeks to complete the course. Successfull completion will award nurses 14 contact hours or 1.4 CEUs through Iowa Board of Nursing Provider #18, and ALLEGRA Learning Solutions, LLC is accreditied as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credintialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
