Description
Introduction to the basic functions and operations performed by and with digital computers. The following are developed: A basic understanding of the operation, function, and capacities of modern computer systems; elementary skill in the use of operating system commands and utilities; a familiarity with the structure, entry, storage, and retrieval of computer data; and an exposure to application programs which are available for and widely used on modern computer systems.
