Description
Introduces principles of wild animal rehabilitation including nutrition, housing, and general care. Covers legal issues related to possession of wildlife and identification of wildlife indigenous to Iowa. Laboratory sessions focus on clinical skills such as fluid calculations and dosing, feeding, medication administration, capture, restraint, and basic bandaging.
