Description

Boys, even smart boys, get worse grades than girls. They drop out of school at a higher rate. Boys now make up less than 40% of college students. But in many ways, boys are ahead, not behind. Find out why more boys under-perform in school. Acquire new strategies that work with boys. Take home the top ten techniques for helping boys learn more in your classroom. Then discover how boys are leading society into the 21st century. Participate day or night. It's easy! It's fun! Cost of tuition includes the text book, Nine Shift: Work, Life and Education in the 21st Century. This one week asynchronous course is taught by William A. Draves and Julie Coates, nationally known educators and authors of a new book on the subject.
