Not sure you are ready to be a Paramedic yet? Want to add more skills for your service than a B can do? This intermediate class is just what you need. Includes United States Department of Transportation curriculum including blind intubation techniques; intravenous cunnulation and I.V. fluids administration. 60 hours of classroom, 48 hours clinical, 48 hours field experience, with15 successful IV starts. Must be a current certified EMT- B and have healthcare providers (C.P.R.) Applications can be picked up at IVCE. Prerequisite: Must have an interview prior to starting the class. State written and practical skills exams are NOT included in this cost and are not held in Marshalltown. MUST BE REGISTERED AND PREPAID 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.
