Description

Not sure you are ready to be a Paramedic yet? Want to add more skills for your service than a B can do? This intermediate class is just what you need. Includes United States Department of Transportation curriculum including blind intubation techniques; intravenous cunnulation and I.V. fluids administration. 60 hours of classroom, 48 hours clinical, 48 hours field experience, with15 successful IV starts. Must be a current certified EMT- B and have healthcare providers (C.P.R.) Applications can be picked up at IVCE. Prerequisite: Must have an interview prior to starting the class. Call Roger Kendall at 641-844-5624 to set up the interview, and complete an application. Need to have 3 professional letters of recommendation. Cost includes books. State written and practical skills exams are NOT included in this cost and are not held in Marshalltown. MUST BE REGISTERED AND PREPAID 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.
