Description
Consists of on-the-job training experience in a major area of municipal fire suppression, airport fire-crash rescue, or industrial fire protection. This may be conducted at either a career or volunteer fire department. If it is completed at a volunteer fire department, only the hours actually spent in fire suppression, rescue or training activities can be logged for credit. May be repeated one time with the Fire Science Program Coordinator's permission. Credit hours may be varied based on 45 hours of actual experience per credit hour.
