Description

Henna has been used for centuries to dye skin (including body art tattoos), hair, fingernails, leather, silk and wool. In many parts of the world it is traditionally used in various festivals and celebrations. Come learn about the history of this native plant/shrub and experience a henna tattoo. Each student will be given a small hand, wrist or ankle henna tattoo by local artist, Glenda Metzen.
