This is a 450 contact hour on-line career certificate program that will prepare you for the medical transcriptionist occupation. This Medical Transcriptionist Career Certificate will attest to the fact that you have mastered medical terminology and know how to produce a wide variety of medical reports and documents, including discharge summaries: history and physical examination reports; operative, consultation and autopsyy reports; diagnostic imaging studies; progress notes; referral letters; and more. This comprehensive and affordable program will leave you well-prepared to start your own business or seek employment in doctor's offices, hospitals, and medical clinics. This on-line course begins the 3rd Wednesday of every month and you will have 15 months to complete the 450 hours of course work.
