Description
An in-depth study of how a law office functions. The clas will focus on the structure of firms/corporate legal departments, use of technology in administering a law office and various administrative and support roles performed by lawyers and non-lawyers in a law office setting. Additionally, the student will study the canons of professional ethics and disciplinary rules applicable to lawyers and legal assistants, together with applicable disciplinary proceedings and court decisions.
